Week 8! The last week of Beta development! It doesn't look like we are any closer to our end goal however. This meant that this week was very much just everyone still chugging along trying to get things done. I spent most of this week trying to get as much weapon/UI stuff done in general. This meant creating a second blueprint for the Cobalt, weapon icons health bars etc. I also finally finished UVing the Squid boss (breathes out). I created some minor emissive maps for the Wasp and the mine it now lays. I also continued to work in parts of the tentacles, creating a feel closely related to the Wasps. One of the last things I did was play with some lighting on a test scene Chris M had created, in order to try to replicate the appearance of the concepts created at the beginning. Lastly I created some animations for the Squid boss core.
