This week was a very short one and quite nerve wracking as half the team was attending NZGDC which meant we'd be away for three of the five days this week. We only had two days to do what we needed while the rest of the team did what they could to finish up for beta. For these two days I focused on creating some placeholder UI for the boss and player health bars and went through several iterations before I came up with something I was happy with. It's definitely not amazing, as 2D is far from my strong suit, but it works for what we need for now. I also worked on documentation for submission; tying up loose ends and collating a lot of my work so it was ready for lecturers. I also did a little experimentation on lighting for the game which Connor took over on.
