A lot of my time during this week was spent on setting up all of our goals and milestones for vertical slice and researching into events for us to display at. Since we were moving on from the prototyping phase and spending the next 8 weeks developing a polished slice of our final game, we had to be organised to stay on track.
The main thing I needed to get done during these first few weeks was to perfect the character mechanics and make them feel as fluid and satisfying as possible. In order to achieve this, I had to look through my somewhat abysmal character class and slowly untangle all the knots I had tied to get it work in 2 weeks. I primarily worked on the camera for this week, and used a lot of LERPing.
