Developer Update: Chris M - Week 5
This week was pretty rough, I came down with a chest infection which gradually turned into strep throat over the following week so I spent a lot of time away at home. Despite this I did push myself and began animations a couple of days into the week after finishing up the morph targets. This week saw me get through most of the animations: and Idle, run, jump start/loop/end/double, slide start/loop/end, and high velocity fall/land. After importing these we found that the inside leg mesh overlaps with the outer leg armor plating and realised that the mesh is going to need to be modified to compensate. This of course means that all of the morph targets/blend shapes and animations will likely have to be redone, but we figured for the vertical slice, what we have is fine, I’ll revisit those after that is completed.
