Gold development is on and we're back to it. This week saw me focusing on lighting and animations. For lighting I played around with post processing to match the concept art that Connor had made which consisted of a nice balance of blue, grey and red. Because we decided on quite a dark world it meant that lighting was extremely important for providing information and guiding the player to where they need to go. I placed in point lights and spotlights to highlight specific areas and changed the directional light settings to provide an overall red light and show god rays, while the sky light was a blue to get that balance between red in blue in the shadows.
For animations I revisited the run cycle and completely re-worked the fall animations and made sure that they matched up flowed smoothly between one another.
